Youth Co-Ed Volleyball
Youth Co-ed Volleyball for grades 1-12. Participants need to register for the grade they will be in for the fall. Games are played on weeknights, practices held on Saturdays (However, practice time and day is determined by the coach, the coach can opt to hold practices on another day other than Saturday). All games played at the South Davis Recreation Center. This is a volunteer-based program, we need parents to volunteer and help coach their child’s team.

Instructional League 1st/2nd Grade
Session II | Fall 2026 | Youth Volleyball | Instructional League 1st/2nd Grade
1st-2nd grade instructional will have 30 minutes of instruction, and the last 15 minutes to scrimmage each week. 45 minutes total every Monday night. What’s Provided - Co-ed teams - All game equipment (balls, nets, etc.) - League jersey included with registration - Athletic shoes are recommended; no open-toe footwear allowed - Coaches will distribute uniforms before the season begins After You Register Your coach will reach out about a week before the first match. Please register your child for the grade they will be in for the 2026-2027 school year. Volunteer-Powered League This program relies on parent and guardian involvement. If your child is playing, you’re part of the coaching team. Session 1 Details - This registration is for Session 2 only - Matches for 1st–2nd grade will be played on Monday evenings - Schedules will be available through TeamSnap. Invitation to TeamSnap will be sent out about 2 weeks before the season begins.

Session I | Spring 2026 | Youth Volleyball | Instructional League 1st/2nd Grade
Our instructional 1st-2nd grade league will run for six weeks total, one night a week. The volleyball schedule will be made public via (quickscores.com/southdavisrecreation) approximately one week before games start. Teams are co-ed. Price includes league jersey to be worn at games. This league is focused on providing coaches trainings as well as player development. The league will be on Monday evenings. League will run for 6 weeks. Each lesson to be made up of 30 min instruction and 15 min of scrimmage for a total of 45 mins. The focus will be on basic physical skills needed for volleyball such as agility, hand eye coordination, and general sports conditioning. Players will learn volleyball basics, bumping, setting, serving and game positioning. Included in the registration will be a sport tech long sleeve shirt. This is a volunteer ran instructional league. Parents are needed to coach. Coaches will contact you via email approx. a week before the program begins to give you a link to the schedule.

Season is tentatively set to start the week of August 11th for all grades (subject to change). 3rd-12th grade games are held once a week on a weeknight, practices are held once a week on Saturday mornings, or as otherwise specified by your coach. The volleyball schedule will be made public via the TeamSnap One app. Teams are co-ed. Volleyball games are held indoors. Equipment is provided for games & Rec Center provided practice times. Price includes league jersey to be worn at games. Coaches will be given the jerseys to hand out to players.
